Space Mission Design and Analysis
The exploration and utilization of the vastness beyond the Earth’s atmosphere has come a long way since Sputnik in 1957. Men have walked on the Moon and robots have explored Mars. Enabling missions to Low-Earth Orbit, the Moon, and the planets of our Solar System requires detailed mission design.
I have worked to design missions to the Moon, Mars, and LEO. By providing solutions to enable space-based observation using individual satellites and constellations of satellites, I have enabled organizations to accomplish their mission by helping them understand the intricacies of space mission design.
Space flight is not anything like flight on Earth and maneuvering a spacecraft is no simple matter. Ensuring the necessary maneuvers have been carefully planned and designed is integral to the hardware design.
I have more than 20 years of orbital mechanics background, coupled with over 15 years of space mission planning. This background includes the use of commercial tools, such as STK, NASA tools, such as GMAT, and the development of scripts and other code.
